For the edition of the xmas card for Raiffeisen Bank I created a graphic card which plays with typographic aesthetics. The abstract typography on a violet background reveals the subtle and charismatic message, that christmas is about non-material values like love, communion and abundance, which cannot be represented in images. The idea was to move away from the traditional christmas-card representations and symbolisms, by also moving away from the ideology of capitalist christmas celebrations, often an excuse for consumerism, materialism and waste.
