Comparing relationships to plants: if we water them, they grow, they build strong roots, they make fruits and blossom in the spring. If we forget about them they slowly die. Every relationship/plant is different: some last a lifetime, like big trees, they survive the heaviest storm, others are like the basil of the supermarket: probably to throw away already after a month. Take care of your plants (friends, partners, family members) and don‘t forget to water them.
